"Data isn't a problem; a computer has instant access to the internet, a trove of data far larger than anything a human can consume in our lifetime. Wikipedia alone is more than a single person can hope to read.
And whereas a human is limited to data we can collect through our own bodies senses, an AI would be able to collect and learn from video data from any camera it has access to, as well as any other kind of sensor it can connect to. A robot could conceivably see everything in a building at once (including itself) if it's wired up that way and learn from all that visual data."
