"**snort** Me. Sane. You're so CUTE. I hear what you're saying...but _President_ Rick Perry?? This is a potential Presidential candidate speaking. If you had made this speech, I'd have cracked up, shared it all over the Internet, and gone on to rib you. But you, last I checked, we're going for the "Most Powerful Man...er, Person in the World" seat. It was creepy! Plus there were giant factual errors (the first I remember yelling at the monitor about was the "deficit increased more under Obama than the entire previous history" comment...I'll track it down) that I hate; all candidates spin the facts as they will, but Perry (among others, he isn't alone) seems perfectly happy to just make them up (as far as I can tell, anyway). I'm no fan of that. Regarding the goofiness...I dunno. I am trying to take your point. But dude...it was weird. And heck, maybe he was pounding cold medicine. Even for medical necessity. But in that case...handlers should have stepped in. HE FONDLED THAT SYRUP!..." - Ken Kennedy

"I hear what you're saying, mon ami...but I watched the whole 25 minutes of that thing, so there's no lack of context (which is basically always the case when folks pull Dean's 6 second "scream" out of the middle of even the surrounding minute). Dean's over-excitable; Perry is a LOON. I'll agree if your point is there's no NEED to pull this out to discredit Perry; noted. But if I gotta, I will. 'cause this as buck-wild crazy. If other candidates are making similar speeches up there in syrup-land, I sure as HECK need to see those too!!" - Ken Kennedy
