"EP and cyclone will very often proc rime. Enough to be noticeable over using a different weapon like Sunkeeper (when geared appropriately with physical/elite damage.) Now you're disputing a totally different point. Its Doubtful that 2.8k LpH is going to make any difference in being able to sustain at GR30+." - Czar

"EP alone does next to nothing, 50% of monster HP. Whoopy.... With a semi-rare weapon (FoA) it scales up to 100% hp. With physical and elite damage (SoJ, Amulet, Bracer, SunKeeper, Doombringer, etc) now it's possible to explode OVER monster's HP. My point is, it takes luck and gear (some of it being rare to find) to make EP OP. Blizzard can't neft EP unless they redesign many things... It's not simply a spell blowing things up, it's the ENTIRE zDPS monk build causing that to happen." - Czar

"Welcome (back) to monk. First upgrade is helm. Laws will let you switch Crippling wave to Blinding flash for more control and more spirit. Next is ring... Puzzle is horrible for zdps. Get a SoJ, any elite damage will be better than crit. Unity is also ok if no SoJ. The RRoG should roll Cooldown not reduce resources cost. Next is weapons. Shield is meh, you really want a a FoA in this spot. if not FoA get a Sunkeeper for even more elite damage. MORE elite damage is good for larger explosions. Otherwise this gear is certainly going in the right direction." - Czar
